The iQua®2 app requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band. Why?
A 2.4GHz signal has a longer range and moves easier through walls, precisely because it operates at a lower frequency. Our Wi-Fi-connected water softeners, often located in a basement or outside the home, need to be able to connect to work. Because we need that strong connection, we require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.
