Wondering what the Status means for your Wi-Fi softener in your iQua®2 app? Take a look below to understand what's going on.
| Status | What It Means | What To Do |
| Connection Status | This indicates whether your water softener is connected to the internet. When Green, it's connected to the internet and working normally. When Red, the water softener is no longer connected to the internet. Please note, the water softener will continue to provide soft water even though it is not connected to the internet. | Verify your Wi-Fi router is powered and connected to the internet. Once the internet connection is restored the water softener will automatically reconnect. |
| Flow Monitor | This indicates the water flow in your home. When Green, the water flow is normal. When Red, an alert has been triggered indicating that the water flow rate and water flow time have triggered an alert. This could be caused by a leak in your plumbing, a running toilet or a faucet that has been left on. | If this alert was triggered during normal water usage, the sensitivity of the alert can be adjusted in the iQua®2 app under Manage Device > General > Alert Settings. |
| Resin Alert | This indicates whether your water softener is running at peak efficiency. When Green, the water softener is running at maximum efficiency. When Red, the water shutoff valve is not working properly and needs immediate attention. | Please refer to your owner's manual for troubleshooting steps. |
| Salt Level | This indicates whether you need to add salt to your water softener or not. When Green, the salt level is sufficient and salt does not need to be added. When Red, the salt level is low and you need to add more salt to your water softener. | Add more salt if needed. |
| Water Usage | This indicates the water usage in your home. When Green, the water usage is normal. When Red, an alert has been triggered indicating that the water usage in your home is significantly higher than normal. This could be caused by a leak in your plumbing, a running toilet or a faucet that has been left on. | Please check your system to ensure you don't have a leak. |
| Error Code | This indicates whether your water softener is working as designed. When Green, the water softener is working normally. When Red, there's an issue with your water softener that needs immediate attention. | Check out our article Error Code for an explanation of the failure and the best way to fix the issue. |

When Red, the signal strength between your water softener and Wi-Fi network is not good and could lead to the water softener disconnecting from the network. | We recommend relocating the home Wi-Fi router and/or adding a Wi-Fi range extender. |
